Chapters

Create a Chapter:

  • Enter the Chapter ID
  • Enter the Chapter Name
  • Enter a Chapter Description
  • Enter a Charter Date
  • Select the associated “people type”
  • Enter the Tax ID
  • Enter the Incorporation
  • Enter any Notes
  • Select a Display Option
  • Select an Active Status
  • Save

Find a Chapter:

  • Enter the Chapter Name
  • Enter the Chapter Description
  • Select the Active Status
  • Select to display all fields
  • Select Output

Find Chapter Roles:

  • Enter Chapter Name
  • Enter Chapter description
  • Enter Chapter Active Status
  • Select the Role
  • Select the Role Active Status

Assign Chapter Roles:

  • Find a Chapter
  • Next to the Chapter Name, click on Role
  • This will display all active Roles for the Chapter and their assigned Person
  • In the top right corner of the screen, click on Add
  • Select the person from the People pop-up picker
  • Select the Role to be assigned
  • Select the Active Status
  • Select the Active Date

Create a New Chapter Role:

  • Navigate to Reference in the left menu
  • Click on Lookup
  • Select Chapter Role from the drop list and click GO
    • This will show a list of Chapter Roles
  • Click New in the top right corner of the screen
  • Select the Type (ChapterRole)
  • Enter the Index (this should be a number greater than the last Index used on the list of Chapter Roles)
  • Enter a Description (this is the Chapter Role name)
  • Enter a Numeric Value (if applicable)
  • Enter a String Value (if applicable)
  • Enter an Application Value (if applicable)
  • Enter an Order
    • This is the Order that the Chapter Role will be displayed in the list of available Roles (this should be in increments of 10)
