Determining if Firefox is Installed

Firefox is an institutionally approved browser for the Mac and is a part of the standard software image loaded on Macs provided by the institution. To determine if Firefox is installed:

• Click the Finder icon on the dock.
  • A popup screen will be displayed

• Click Go/Applications.
  • A list of software programs installed on your computer will be displayed.

• Review the list.

If Firefox is found, determine the version (see instructions that follow).
If Firefox is not on the list, download and install the software (see instructions that follow).
