Articles in Peer-Reviewed Journals

A prerequisite to publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals is peer review, a process by which an author’s scholarly work or ideas are subjected to the scrutiny of experts in their field. This process is used primarily by publishers to select and screen submitted manuscripts, and by funding agencies to decide the awarding of monies for research.

Examples of peer-reviewed journals:

Radiology; Cancer; New England Journal of Medicine; American Journal of Clinical Oncology
