An abstract is: 1. brief summary of a research article, thesis, review, conference proceeding or in-depth analysis of a particular subject or discipline that appears at the beginning of a manuscript to help the reader quickly ascertain the paper's purpose; or 2. stand-alone entity used as the basis for selecting research that is proposed for presentation in the form of a poster, podium/ lecture, or workshop presentation at an academic conference.
All abstracts may be entered into the FIS database. However, only those in-press or published within the last five years may be included in the institutional CV Report.
