Site Configuration

The site configuration page is an administrative page where specific options can be configured for the front end calendar pages. There are also back office command center options that can be configured on this page.

General Options

The general configuration options include:

  1. The login time out countdowns to the number of minutes entered in the field before the system automatically logs the session out.

  2. Site Email Address: establishes the default site email address. The email address must be configured in order to activate the automated email notifications feature.

  3. Menu Tree View - Checking this option will enable the expanding and collapsing menu tree on the Menus page.

  4. Bypass Approval Process - Checking this option will bypass the content management approval workflow.

  5. Menu Level 2 Node Page - Checking this option allows Menu 2 items to serve as Menu level 3 node pages.

  6. Show CC Number in DynaForms CSV - If this option is checked then credit card numbers will be exported from dynamic form search results.

Email List Options

You can enter default first and last name options for broadcast email that use the First Name/Last Name merge options. The default values will be used when first name/last name are not available for an individual in the list.

Authentication Options

Authentication options for accessing the xCatalyst command center and front end password protected areas can be integrated with Active Directory or LDAP authentication. To learn more, contact xCatalyst support.

Calendar Options (Basic site calendar)

Calendar options that can be configured include:

  1. Display Options - Checking the options will enable the specific display option on the public calendar pages.

  2. Show Search Controls - Sets position of calendar controls above or below the calendar data.

  3. Default Month View - Sets the default view on the public calendar pages to a calendar view or a list view.

  4. State Default - Sets the default state on the front end calendar control to the selected state (works with "Show Country and State" display option).

  5. Country Default - Sets the default country on the front end calendar control to the selected country  (works with "Show Country and State" display option).

  6. Time Zone Default - sets the default time zone on the front end calendar control to the selected time zone.  (works with "Show Country and State" display option).

  7. Time Zone Configuration - Selects time zones that will be displayed on the front end calendar controls drop list.
